MICRO PHOTOGRAPHY

Macro photography, micro-photography or close up photography as its sometimes called is a fascinating insight into the micro world of nature in a wildlife sense. With this macro photography portfolio, I share some of my close up nature photography taken on my travels and hope they give some insight into another world beyond our own.

Macro photography for beginners can be daunting.  However, close up nature photography allows insects, flowers, plants, and reptiles to make some amazing macro subjects, which all seem to come to life in a photograph. These subjects can be found in and around your own home, so its a good place to start for any enthusiast to create some amazing photos.

Definition of Micro Photography

Macro photography, is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects and living organisms like insects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life-size.
