Luxury Safari Lodge in the Kruger Park
Comprising of 12 immaculately appointed air-conditioned palatial suites, all with en-suite antiqued style baths. Imbali Safari Lodge is pure unrestrained luxury in the middle of the South African bushveld.
All the suites are appointed with only the finest of furniture, large kingsize beds adorn each room all with imported linen. Fine gauge mosquito netting graces the large beds for your safety and comfort. Each room has a telephone but all internet and wifi connections are made from the main lodge itself.
While outside spacious decks encompass your own private plunge pool, which provides views over the river bed and on to the plains beyond and excellent for game viewing.

This 2-day/night wildlife safari staying at Imbali Safari Lodge in the Kruger Park gives you the opportunity to stay at one of twelve luxuriously appointed private suites overlooking the Nwaswitsontso River. From your own private deck or plunge pool, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush in one of the worlds premier wildlife game reserves.
WHAT TO EXPECT
While in the camp and on your game drives all the animals and birds you will encounter are in their natural environments and you will be amazed at the flora and fauna in this vast expanse of a prime wildlife reserve. Close encounters with Africa’s Big 5 are a real possibility and the adrenaline rush when you come across a lion or large bull elephant for the first time is a life-changing experience. As far as luxury lodges in the Kruger National Park go, it does not get much better than Imbali, all the while surrounded by Africa’s wildlife and nature.
THE LODGE
Imbali Safari Lodge is located within the private 10, 000-hectare concession of Mluwati in the western region of the Kruger National Park, bordering the northern Sabi Sands where we host our Sabi Sands photo safari and the Manyeleti Game Reserve where we host our Big 5 Eco photo safari.

After a morning game drive, it will then be time to head back to the camp to check-out and breakfast at around 9.30 am (camp check out is at 11:00 am).
Note: Itineraries are flexible and can be discussed on the day in camp, dependant on the weather, time of the year and any additional activities that are chosen.

This is an un-escorted wildlife safari, with Imbali Safari Lodge rangers undertaking daily game drives with you and other guests. Should our guests require a privately guided wildlife safari or photo safari with Tony Sparkes Wildlife and Photographic Safari’s using Imbali Safari Lodge as a base then please contact us for prices on this safari or any other safari custom option. Guest may also want the additional option to explore more of the vastness of the Kruger National Park and opt for a privately guided safari in the Kruger National Park either before or after your visit to Imbali. Please advise us at the time of booking Imbali.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 8 on this wildlife safari. Children between the ages of 8-12 will only be allowed on a game drive at the discretion of management.

IMBALI SAFARI LODGE
As one of the first private concessions in the Kruger National Park, Mluwati has worked tirelessly to ensure the sustainability of this pristine wilderness that for over 100 years has been a sanctuary for over 114 reptiles, 34 amphibians and 147 mammal species, including Africa’s Big Five.
Keen birders will delight in the hundreds of bird species that call Kruger home. Over 500 species, in fact, many of which occur in the Mluwati Concession including the Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill, Crested Barbet and Burchell’s Glossy Starling.
Guests will enjoy some of Kruger’s most spectacular landscapes and an extraordinary variety of wildlife, birdlife and plant life within the Mluwati Concession, ensuring that each safari experience will be unique.
Experience a morning and evening game drive during your stay at Imbali. - It should be noted that the Kruger National Park is located within in a Malaria area, guests are advised to seek medical advice from your own doctor in this respect.

- There is wifi access at the reception at Imbali Safari Lodge due to its remoteness it may be a little slow. Should you be in urgent need to make a call, a telephone and landlines are available from the comfort of your own suite.
WHAT TO BRING ON SAFARI
- Mornings and evenings in an open safari vehicle are cold to cool (even in the summer), bring a fleece and a windbreaker jacket
- Rain jacket, hat, cap or beanie

- Spare batteries for your camera

- Camera/video camera & flash (for wildlife photography a 300 – 400mm lens is ideal but there are opportunities for wildlife images for all sizes of lenses.
